I am new in the xbmc users group - set up an XBMC media center based on FreeBSD few days ago, and i really like the software, managed to set up everything perfectly, the only problem is that it displays Hungarian subtitles and interface strings incorrectly - instead of special characters like é,á,ű,p,ő,ú i get gibberish, sometimes 2 random chars... i saw that this question came up a few times here and there on the forum, but i couldn't find any solution for it in last 2 days, so i thought maybe someone here can point me to the right direction. I have tried adding new ttf fonts, editing char encoding for gui and subtitiles in language xml files, changing subtitle charset settings in system - video section and even converting the sub file to different character set with iconv ... i'm aout of ideas...

please if anyone has some idea, let me know!
