I've a TV Show which is aired in 2012 and there's one with the same name aired in 2008, how do I get XBMC to get the right information without adding the year onto the folder?
Either add [year] onto the end of the file names, or refresh the file information from the context menu and manually select the right programme.
well it could help if you tell us which TV Show.
but basically i take a look at TVDB and see which naming they use.

I just want to name the folder The Inbetweeners without the year of it
Then only way is adding an nfo file

There's no nfo file included

Allow XBMC to add it incorrectly. Then navigate to the show and bring up the contextual menu and select TV show information. Then select refresh. It should now let you select the year you want.
