I would like to change my film file names through the data base,
use those names to change my file names.

is there a way in xbmc?

I'm not sure I understand the question. Do you want to rename your files based off the movie title within XBMC? There is no means to do this within XBMC itself, though depending on which OS you use, there may be 3rd party media managers that may be able to assist. Have a look at the supplimentary tools section of the forum.
