Ran over just the USB IR receiver. How can I replace just the receiver?

Frankly, the entire remote kit is so inexpensive, you might as well just buy another one. Even if you could find a compatible generic IR receiver, I wouldn't think the price of this unit would be appreciably less than that of a replacement VRC-1100.
