Ok this is my first attempt at XBMC. I wanted to use this as a media streamer/access shared drives. I also wanted to use this as a Blu ray player.
OS: XBMC buntu
Motherboard: BIOSTAR TH61ITX+RCH $80
Processor: Intel Core i3-2105 $104
Memory: SAMSUNG 8GB (2 x 4GB) $40
Case: Thermaltake Element Q $75
SSD Drive Crucial M4 64 GB $72
Bluray player/burner: LG 14x BDR $75
total $441
My intentions are to replace my little media box streamer/blu ray player. I want to BITSTREAM the HD audio for DTS MASTER HD/TRUE HD. I also wanted to be ready for 3D if and when I decide to actually go for that gimmick..lol
Please let me know if this is TOO much. I will not be gaming, it will be a media player/blu ray player/media ...etc....
