Hello,
I am currently running Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 on an HP Desktop model h9-1183, hooked up to a Samsung 55 inch LED TV via HDMI.
I want to replace my current OS with XBMCbuntu using the 11.0 "EDEN" image.
I have tried installing XBMCbuntu 11.0 "EDEN" with a USB drive. After continuous failures in having the live drive working for me (trying both LiLi and UNetbootin - Windows), I gave up on the USB and burned the iso onto a CD-R to boot from there.
I have tried both "Install XBMCbuntu" as well as "Install XBMCbuntu with fixed DPI (120x120)".
When it is loading the installation disk or USB image, I get the following error messages, and then I am redirected to an Ubuntu terminal window as xbmc@LiVe.
Error messages:
[ 12.225343] ieee80211 phy0: wl_ops_config: change monitor mode: false (implement)
[ 12.225352] ieee80211 phy0: wl_ops_config: change power-save mode: false (implement)
[ 12.231325] ieee80211 phy0: wl_ops_bss_info_changed: qos enabled: false (implement)
I have tried searching for issues like this, but as far as I can tell, any of the threads I have come across were able to fix it using fixed DPI installation (due to the TV size causing the installer to fail - I haven't been able to get that far).
Any advice, help, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
