I was able to setup an FTP server using my WD live TV with a big harddrive connected to it, my problem is that when I add my FTP details in the browse menue in XBMC and press ok, I end up in the folder "root" which is contains nothing that I need, i need to be able to login to /tmp/media/usb, the western digital IP is 192.168.0.12, I would like anyone to help me setup this link, thanks in advance.

If you bring up the contextual menu ( "C" on a keyboard) and select "edit source" you should be able to just add "/tmp/media/usb/" to the end of the source URL.
