Hi there!

I am using frodo since a while now. And everything worked fine until a few days ago.
I didnt change any settings or components... Reboot of NAS Storage and xbmc didnt help.
Also updated from rc2 to Rc3 ... No improvement.

Currently I cant watch any video file. Xbmc is either displaying the "working" logo or showing "buffering" if it managed to start the file.
Xvba is installed and selected
Hd-Audio is turned of
I did the synology settings to enable NFS-mounting.
As i said everything worked fine until now

I also had a look at the running processes, but didnt find anything with high cpu load.

Running xbmcbuntu RC3.
Amd cpu+gpu.
2Gb ram

Go to the Linux and Live support forum (yes the one you just posted in) Click on the very first sticky thread. Read the first post in that thread. Implement it. Come back and post the requested info. (I am not saying I will then be able to help you, but someone might IF you give the requested info).
