For some reason, when using xbmc frodo from the xbmc/unstable repo, it forgets you have hdmi audio of any kind and defaults to spdif if you reboot the computer or its forced off by powerfailure. Usually if you just keep shutting on and off the computer it eventually remembers you have hdmi audio.
Not sure whats going on but aplay see's the devices just fine.
Is there something I can do to fix this issue, getting annoying have to reboot 10 times to get it to see it. Never had this problem in xbmc eden.
