I got the 3 in replacement for the old homehub 1...out of nowhere my ATV2 starting crashing usually ten minutes into a film on xvmc. Tried a bunch of stuff, eventually plugged in my old ATV1 and that crashed too.

Plugged the old router in and the problem went away!

Go figure?

Any suggestions on what router I should get now?

I have no idea what is going on here...
