Installed 14 July build on ouya. Happy that it kept settings. DVD vob/ifo now plays ( did not in alpha 1)
Do have a weird shadow beneath subtitles only. Uploaded the log here: xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=36911
Shadow appeats under some but not all subtitles, mostly when there are two lines. Tried shifting the subbar up through video calibration but that didnt help. De shadow clearly somehow mirrors the subtitles.
Also tried a DVD iso file. it displays "working" and then stops. Just played it through movies in this log so after failure it continues to play argo.
Ouya, fully updated yesterday, XBMC android 14 july build.
Line 620 opens the iso, then some errors I dont understand
Plays fine on my openelec/frodo 12.2 setup downstairs.

I did open 2 times a file one in 1channel, one in icefilms. My samsumg tab 2 did reboot both of the times.
The problem is the xbmc.old.log does not upload. On the moment I am testing your test files, perhaps I can load them.

I did try to open your test files, my samsung tab2 did crash on every file. Bad sound, stuttering videos.
Alpha 6 14-7-2013 does not work for samsumg tab 2, i will go further with alpha 1.

So, that did help a lot, I did want to show some problems... The real problem for you seams to be who is the real xbmc. That is a pitty..........
The newest build seems to work well on my Odroid U2 running CM 10.1.
Just for your information i did also play all your test files with my neo x5 mx player (not making use of xbmc). All the files did play very well with mx player. So if there is a problem, the problem is xbmc, xbmchub, xbmcandroid. I do not care. But i hope this huge problem will be solved somehow.
Update for Galaxy Tab 2 to 4.1.2 in combination with the latest build made for a very good experience. The previous build (may 2013) in combination with 4.0.x resulted in too much lag.

Agreed.
Work is being done whenever possible but do not try to demand anything. Logs are helpful though
The 14/07 build runs pretty well on my ouya.
Playback issues got removed and the system runs quite smooth (even with aeon nox).
However, when being in the movie section my memory gets filled until there is nothing left and the app crashes.
I don't know if it could have anything to do with the fact that I have a lot of movies, and the system tries to save all the fanarts and covers in the memory (just a thought).
I have a log for you here:
http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=37483
Detailed bug - description:
Everything works fine (even series) folders.
When I open movies, I can watch as my memory gets filled up, until there is nothing left and the app crashes.
Once initialized, you can't stop this progress.
Even when going in the main menu again or changing skin, it's still filling up my memory until the app crashes (and closes).
It takes about 20 seconds until the memory is full.
It doesn't seem to be skin-dependant, it happens with standart skin as well as aeon nox.
Even thought it seems to take a bit longer with the confluence skin.
Hope you can do something with this.
Greets,
ouyaxbmc
Running 14/07 build on Ouya seems to be running pretty well. The sound stuttering from the previous once is gone and the 1080p videos I have play smoothly now with one exception.
It is a huge mkv movie that runs smooth but has block pixelation and color issues. I the same one played fine in that respect on the latest stable android frodo release, the image it self was excellent but suffered from bad playback speed.

A video (episode) from the same collection except in 4:3 aspect played perfect, adding logs for reference

I experienced the same on Windows, so this is not Android specific. In my case it was related to a .bin/.cue ISO file of a movie XBMC/ffmpeg coudln't read properly for meta/thumb extraction and thus loaded the full movie into RAM. Same seems to happen in your case with "/storage/sdcard0/usb_drive_1/Filme/Alamo der Traum/alamo-a.bin"
