Hi
I've built two HTPC based on AMD E350. I installed XBMC Eden on Lubuntu 12.04 by following the steps of this WIKI: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...th_AMD_GPU
In one of my HTPC I used a big case (http://www.overgroupnet.com/website/prod...idProd=214). It let me install a conventional SATA internal bluray drive. It works great. XBMC recognizes the bluray disks and I can play them from the main menu by "Play Disk" option.
In the other one HTPC I used a very small case (http://www.overgroupnet.com/website/prod...idProd=228). I wanted a minimal space consumption, then I buyed an LG external USB bluray drive. Lubuntu mounts the bluray disks and I can see all the content even I can play it with VLC.
When I put a disk in the USB drive XBMC doesn't show the "Play Disk" option. I solved it by tweaking the file home.xml in order to show allways the option Play Disk in the main menu. I changed <visible>Player.HasMedia</visible> by <visible>Platform.Linux</visible>
Now i see the option in the main menu but it doesn't work when i try to play a disk from the USB drive. XBMC doesn't recognize the drive.
Is there any trick to solve the problem?
