Hi guys! Hope you can help me with a problem I am having.
I have XBMC installed on a Macbook Pro (late 2007) running as a HTPC. I have all my media on an external HDD hooked up to my main computer iMac (late 2007). I want XBMC on the Macbook to use the external HDD on the iMac. I have only been able to get the Macbook to see the external drives through SMB but when I try to actually click on the drive in finder, I get "The operation can't be completed because the original item for "MY BOOK" can't be found"
That being said when I click on SMB in XBMC it says "Error 2: share not available"
All I wanna do is to for XBMC to be able to access the media on an external HDD connected to another computer.
Any ideas?
