I have a windows 7 and a windows 8. My windows 8 system is missing the section in between Videos and the actual Movies ie Genre, Year, Title, Actors, Directors, Studio, Sets & Countries.
Is there a place where I set this? (Library Mode is already checked)

Try clicking the parent link ("...") at the top of your movies list.
There is no (...) it starts with Movies, TV shows, Recently Added Movies, Recently Added Episodes, Files, Playlists and Video Addons.
From Movies the parent link jump back to the video list above.
On the page that Movies, TV shows, Recently added movies, Recently added episodes, Files, Playlists, and Video Add-ons, what do you see if you click the Movies option?
By the way, which XBMC version are you running?
I see the movies (in Fanart view) the back arrow (ie parent link "...") takes me back to the Movies, TV shows etc page.

Seems like you have "Flatten" enabled on your left slider menu for Movies.
Thanks artrafael that was it. I thought that "Flatten" was to with to do with the franchise's ie put all the batman movies under one cover.
