Hi, Pls could someone assist? I am very new to Linux, and having some problems getting XBMCbuntu to work with slideshow.

I am serving up photos from my Windows 8 pictures library using WMP inbuilt upnp server. I can see XBMC in devices, and enabled Windows privileges for the device.

On XBMC, I can see the Windows 8 PC in the Auto Discover upnp devices, and I can browse all the PC folders, see and generate thumbnails. When I select 'Start Slideshow here' on XBMC, I get a blank black screen only. I've checked in the PC folder to ensure I have only valid .jpg files. I've also tried the same as above using a W7 PC - same problem.
