I cant seem to get my iphone app to control my xbmc on a windows 7 laptop. im very new to this so prob something
really simple i inputted the correct ip and port , and user name and pass word, i also turned on control through http within the setting of the xbmc program but still my i phone app still will not connect
can anyone give some advice

Make sure they are on the same network? I'm also having problems, it finds XBMC on my Mac but cannot seem to connect to it. Just loads and loads.

Hi there, I'm not using the iPhone app with windows, am using openelec on a zotac, but I have noticed that the ip may have changed (another device joined the network perhaps) so I use the "find xbmc" button to connect, rather than typing in the details.
