hi i built a new htpc a while ago with the intention of someday having Pvr setup on it.

ive recently put the Windows version of xbmc 12 latest release on it (2days ago) & starti g to think more about the pvr stuff.

i notice the frontend add on's available etc,
is the 'backend' just the tuner side of it?

would it use too much cpu resources if i have the back end on the htpc too?

i could either go for an internal tuner card or a usb one.
I am in the UK, so DVB-T2....twin tuner would be good, any preference between internal card vs usb?

so could i put the tv backend software on the win7 install that xbmc is on?
does it impact too much when recording etc?
