i think you can use iptv simple v1.8
i just upgraded to gotham (alpha10) and had to upgrade my pvr addons to versions that use api version 1.9.
for anyone having pvr-difficulties after an upgrade to the latest testing versons of xbmc, grab the pvr addon sources from here, compile and install the needed addons manually.

I supposed that this was the sollution but I didn't find any branch or release of this version in xbmc-pvr-addons repository or in xbmc-addon-iptvsimple repository.

I ussually use cvs or svn and I'm not very familiarised with git so maybe I'm doing somethin wrong.

Maybe using gotham alpha 10 can be another option if its more stable than alpha 9...

Is there a zip file of this addon that we can use for iOS (apple tv)?

I asked before for the posiblity (in settings maybe) of merge channels with the same name, that would be treated as two different sources, and if the first fails (time off) go on to the second one. As an exaple I use some channels that have two diferent streams, one of them with better quality but is not always online an the other one poor quality but more stable, after all I wan't to say merge different sources to the same channel, like others pvrs do if you have more than one tv card, and afedchin said that was in todo list.
Any progress on this?

Hello, any news regarding the "BUG" when the IPTV simple plugin does not refresh the cached iptv.m3u.cache file?

It isn't possible because the addon doesn't controls playback, it just provides channels (with stream url) to the xbmc.

Hi Afedchin, thanks for your great addon! I use it for a long time and I've never had any problems. (gotham alpha 9 and iptv simple 1.8.1 works fine, the new version give me "dependiences not me" error, but it's not a problem).

Now I wuold like to load a playlist storaged on my site so that I can share it with others users and upgrade it each day. I've read all the 48 pages and I know that you have already specify that this wasn't possible but maybe there are some news!? do u think it is possible in somehow?!

I think even Dhead user has already made a similar request in the past.

last two days can`t watch channels like this ( http://149.62.176.210/udp/239.100.0.4:12...TzyRQH-1_z ) in xbmc with pvr.iptv.simple addon....i got this error...this channels are still works fine in VLC player....any solutions? maybe is a problem with user agent string?

Ok, so I have an iptv service nettv plus that I use and watch over my computer. I saw some people talk about using it through xbmc. I am totally new to xbmc and was wandering if someone can help me out if that is not too much to ask for. I know I have to make a list (m3u) but I dont know how to do that :/ sorry very new. So if someone can explain to me in detail how I would go about trying this, I would appreciate any help. If not, thanks anyway . Any info you need I can provide.

This is a suggestion to author of this My Favorite PVR,
can you make the EPG7 database in hiden folder
C:\Users\******\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Database\epg7.db
To take the adress from epg.xml from line
<icon src="http://tv.voila.fr/images/programmes/large/2013/12/12/16521961_169_43611614.jpg" />
and put in epg7.db in tabel "epgtags" colon "sPlotOutline" and change colone name ,like in tv.guide "image_small".
I will later connect the PVR EPG that displays the images of our EPG.SF (we made some about more then 560 epg events and logo signs for europian channels)
It's a small thing, but I need for a perfect media box.

I agree with Angelians. It would be great if we could include the <icon src="..."/> tag from the XMLTV file.
Often this tag includes the poster\cover of a movie or tv-series. So when you press Info while watching a channel or in the EPG view, your could get poster\cover art for the movie\tv show.

This would be great since there is no support for scrapers in LiveTV.

Is it somehow possible to record tv channels using this add-on?
