Sure, you can host your playlist on an any server. The addon will correctly update m3u if the server provides correct modified time of playlist.

This an issue of xbmc. The addon doesn't open any stream.

can you make the EPG7 database in hiden folder

To take the adress from epg.xml from line

Hi there.
Has any one noticed when watching a live multicast stream ( ether mpeg2 or mpeg4 ) the cpu usage slowly creeps up to 50% and the same happens to the network ( usage goes to 50% ) but stops there ( maybe it can just use 1 core as i have the Intel Celeron 867 which has 2 cores ).
I have checked the server i am streaming the multicast through but the network is at the same 4Mbits constant so the network is not loading the server.
I have tried the Openelec intel 3.2.4 Intel and the generic 32bit both have the same problem.
As the zotac nano is loud at above 35% cpu load this is really annoying.
If i stop and start the channel it goes down to 5-6% again an starts to creep up again.

Hi, I'm a XBMC Newbie and so far I love it. I saw IPTVSimple PVR on YT and I wanit!!! I have a Minix Android and I'm a bit confused from previous posts, is there a direct addon now or do you have to still build it inside xbmc? There are some who suggested there is direct addon in XBMC but I cant find it. Sorry to be such a simpleton, but this is my first time with an android device , I have to use Python to build right? Also can someone suggest the easiest way and the most current download link to get started.

For Frodo on android, please download and install Frodo 12.3 which already contains the addon. There is no possibility to install the addon from zip on android.

Hi everyone, I saw that a person was directed to this thread coz he wanted to play m3u file through xbmc, which I would also like to play, do you need a simpletv box or other boxes with tv sat feeds capture to play these m3u files, because I tried a few m3u files and they dont go through to live tv.

Your do not need any box, just the iptv.simple pvr-addon for XBMC. There your need to confgure a .m3u file that has the streams, and if you want a .xml file that has the EPG for those channels.

Cheers for the shout, only got some of the links to work, the http links worked. However all the links in the form of "rtmp://$OPT:rtmp-raw=rtmp" didn't work and most of my m3u file consisted of these links.

- added setting to disable cache m3u/epg
- added support <icon src=""/> for programme in epg
- added possibility to specify logo path as URL
- changed tvg-logo should contains full logo filename (with extention)
- changed don't try download xmltv if it doesn't load after 3 attempt.
