tried for 5 hrs to get Frodo onto my ATV2....had installed 5.2 which i had missed. This does not work with Frodo as of yet..

uninstall latest itunes 11

restart dator...install itunes 10.6.3 (not higher) (if you get starting errors, get a new itunes 10.6.3) i did it 3 times !

install seas0npass from a 2012 build with MAX 5.0.2 on ATV2...run it on computer (gets rid of 5.2)

ATV2 will then be with 5.0.2

install frodo 12.0

Misleading Title and unnecessary steps taken.

Just use the latest seas0npass, right click (win) or ctrl click (mac) on create ipsw, choose 5.0.2.

Install XBMC with your preferred method.

Stay on 5.0.2 until theres a release of XBMC for 5.2.

Why bother? The solution was pretty simple

Forgive basic question but I always understood that once the firmware had been updated by apple seasonpass would only install the latest.

So as I am on 5.02 software now can is just download Ipsw file for 5.02 and then run seasonpass software but press Ctrl (on mac) and point seasonpass to that software instead?

Don't want to lose my xbmc but has been a bit temperamental soma reflash would be good.
