I was looking into doing more changing mousebutton functions.

I went to this page where it sais that the mouse.xml file should be located here: Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\. But op my PC this folder is empty.

I have done some mousebutton chages and the the keymap-folder was here: C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\system\keymaps\
There are a lot of other .xml here as well (joystick, gamepad, keyboard, remote)

Now there are two locations for some folders but does this make any diffrence?

You shouldnt modify the default xml in C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\system\keymaps\ you should create a new one in Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Keymaps and put your modified files there. XBMC will first detect what is in Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Keymaps and if nothing is found it will default back to C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\system\keymaps\

ah, that's clears it.
I modified and renamed the default one like mouse-old.xml
