Hi all,

I have downloaded a video add-on for XBMC which streams live tv to my mac/pc from the internet to the midi centre. My question is, can i stream this live tv over my home network to my smart tv. I have tried and the smart tv can only read from the video library, playlist but i cannot see the add-on.

Can this be done? I do not want to plug any cables from my laptop to my tv because that defeats the purpose.
If not, i think this would be a very good addition to XBMC media centre.

Share videos and music via UPnP is enabled.

I use this server. http://www.serviio.org/ it is totally free and supported by the community. It has its own plugins... It streams all the videos and live tv on home network and works as upnp server.. Very stable... read their forums from support.... What you can do get streams from the xbmc log file and make your own Livefeeds rss file and host it on google sites.... Also share with others in the fourms at serviiro.. Take care..

i can run the live tv from the XBMC add-on from there?
