for the last few days (maybe longer) my RSS news ticker (the default one on the main menu) is showing XBMC news from about a year ago.
For example, shows feature freeze getting ready for Eden, an april fools partnership with sony etc.
Any ideas why this has reverted to old news?

Mine's the same, all platforms. I did squint around to see if anyone had reported it, but hadn't got around to doing any serious digging. Taking a quick look, the data is coming from
http://feeds.feedburner.com/xbmc, and it's just horribly out of date. The update timestamp is Fri, 22 Feb 2013 13:26:34 PST, so I presume someone just loaded up the wrong file...?

Same here, change no setting, but the feed is an old one. Like a new release of Live XBMC 9.04, that's new !!!
It is coming from the feed address, type it into your browser and see.

Someone has stuffed the feed up and will notice eventually. Not really a big deal though is it? It is not an error in xbmc as such, but an error in whoever maintains the rss feed.
Still the same on March 3rd.
