I was wondering if anyone has experience with using HDMI-CEC (using Pulse Eight's adapter) with Pioneer TV's. I have a Pioneer PDP-508XD and a Pulse Eight CEC adapter using XBMC on Ubuntu. The CEC-adapter works, because XBMC's language changes when I change the language on my TV. So both XBMC and the CEC adapter are configured properly. I have also configured the TV to use my input 4 for XBMC for HDMI Control.

However, not 1 button from the remote seems to be forwarded to CEC. The arrows do not do anything. Enter key doesn't work, nothing. Has anyone been able to succesfully use a Pioneer TV with HDMI-CEC?
Does your version of XBMC include the CEC support?

Have you had a look through the Pulse 8 FAQ ?

I have a "normal" version of XBMC. Not one from Pulse-Eight. However, the module is there and when I plug the CEC module in the USB port I see the notification that the CEC module was enabled. Also, I am able to change XBMC's language by changing my TV's language. Also, shutting down XBMC when my TV turns off works. Therefor I believe I have properly configured XBMC.

The only thing I am puzzled about is the HDMI port setting. I thought I have to set that to the input number of my TV (INPUT 4 in my case), but from reading the FAQ (can't control volume section) I think it is for something else but I dont know what exactly.
doesn't look like Pioneer tv's are very compatible.. at least not confirmed as such... http://libcec.pulse-eight.com/vendor/support
