Hello guys,
I installed xbmc frodo in my htpc with windows 7 x64 with intel i7 and HD4000 graphic gpu.
when I try to play a file .mkv disappears audio and video stutters
can someone help me?
with eden version worked perfectly
thanks
Likely incorrect audio settings, refer to http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=146911
thanks, but the problem is the video,
is as if there were no hardware acceleration or video resolution is too high.
This only happens with files .mkv and not .avi files; I installed the latest drivers for intel
but with version eden everything worked properly
thanks
Incorrect audio settings on Frodo can cause exactly what you describe

I tried all the suggestions in the guide, but the result is always the same
when I run a file .mkv the framerate drops from 60 fps to 3-4 fps
how can I post my log?
thanks
Do you have DXVA enabled? Enabling hardware acceleration without a video card can cause the video to be choppy too.

I've noticed choppy playback when I try to bitstream audio to a device that can't decode it (like bitstreaming to your TV), or when DXVA was enabled.

yes, I tried both ways but no differences
I tried to install the package " DSPlayer (DirectShow Player for XBMC) Frodo build" and also work properly with this version of the file .mkv

I have Intel i7 w/ HD4000 too, and it can handle Frodo and bitstreaming HD audio with ease......I don't know how you connected your system, but here are two scenariors-

Intel to AVR via HDMI-

HTPC to LEDTV via HDMI (and your should be Intel instead of AMD)-

You can find more tips in here- Simplify XBMC configurations......

The only time you run into problems bitstreaming (I have i5 3570k with HD4000) is when you are sending encoded audio to a device that can't decode it. For example, bitstreaming 5.1 or 7.1 audio in AC3, DTS, DTS-HD or TrueHD formats over HDMI to your TV, which can't decode those signals. If your passthrough output device and audio output device can decode the formats you are bitstreaming, then you shouldn't have any problems.

Before selecting capable receiver options, you want to make that your AVR support it......otherwise, you will have issue.....

What does Supported Formats in Windows say? What type of audio do the files contain? You're almost certainly trying to passthrough an audio format your system says it does not support.

You are not bitstreaming HD audio then....
