I have been using xbmc for a few years now and I love it. I have a Moxi (type) media center pc runing Frodo. When I switched to the new version I now get a high pitched sound when playing mp3's and movies with audio that is 41000hz mp3 audio. If I re encode the audio to 48000 hz the sound is perfect. I am kind of tech savy but not so much with linux. My Moxi has a built in reciever and I run my speakers directly from it and not over HDMI or anything. I would appreciate any help that could given as I didnt have this problem with the old xbmc I am asuming its an issue with the new audio engine.
