I purchased a Foxconn nt-A3550 and for the most part it has been fine getting XBMCbuntu up and running. Recently I started playing more HD videos and I'm finding that when a lot of action is happening it gets very choppy. I think it has something to do with the AMD Radeon HD 6310 onboard graphics and have found the following link to update drivers:

I'm running the latest v12 xbmcbuntu. Does anyone know if this will fix my issue?

Thanks
Try installing the wsnipex version of frodo, and enable xvba acceleration.
Clarification: With ATI cards if you want hardware accleleration you need xvba ppa a.k.a. wsnipex ppa

see Frodo FAQ (wiki)

Thanks to both of you. Things seem to be smooth now.
