I had a xbmc live setup running on XBMC version 11 (Eden) and had setup WebDAV to access via https my remote content that is on a synology NAS device. This setup was working very good. Then I decided to upgrade XBMC to version 12 (Frodo) only to find out that WebDAV no longer worked and I could not connect. After trying several things and unable to resolve this, I installed back version 11 but again WebDAV is not working now. Anyone has this issue with WebDAV ? Yes, I have the port forwarded in the router and at the same time the "DS File" app on my android is working excellent using same https WebDAV service on synology. I just cannot figure out why XBMC is stuck on this. On synology I see a connection error saying "authorization failed" I am sure that username and password is correct. Synology is running on its DSM 4.2 version

Thanks,
I tried today and removed https from the test just to simplify things and used regular webdav over default port 5005. I see this in the logs:

20:31:59 T:5724 DEBUG: ------ Window Deinit (DialogNetworkSetup.xml) ------

This is from my winodws 7 machine as it is easier to test on it.

Anyone has any ideas as of what is wrong with this protocol?

Thanks for your time.
Known issue. I believe it's being worked on.

I'm assuming you are referring to an issue with xbmc and not synology. If yes, then why when loading the old version 11 (eden) is not working anymore? Which version of xbmc worked best with this protocol?

thanks for your reply,
