Hello guys,

my XBMC Frodo is ignoring *.nfo files for TV-Shows. They were created with the MediaElch Tool, which worked out perfect for movies.

The Problem is about the TV-Show Spartacus (Season 1). It only adds Spartacus as TV-Show, but Season(s) and Episodes are not there Huh.
  • It is on a HDD in H:\Serien\
  • H:\Serien is added as Source for TV-Shows (TVDB) with Default Scraper Settings
  • Spartacus is in H:\Serien\Spartacus (2010)\ + tvshow.nfo
  • H:\Serien\Spartacus (2010)\Season 01\ contains Episoded + *.nfos

When I search for new content, I get the following log-output. I hope someone has a tip to get my favorite TV show into XBMC Blush
Code:

Your episode file names are not correct.

They would need to have the episode number in them.

I thought because I have *.nfo files this doesn't matter because no actual scraping is done?

EDIT: Of course you were right!
i too have this issue with tvshow.nfo not being read when Refreshing.

example
F:\TVSHOWS\2 Broke Girls + tvshow.nfo
F:\TVSHOWS\2 Broke Girls\2 Broke Girls S01E01.avi
F:\TVSHOWS\2 Broke Girls\2 Broke Girls S01E01.nfo

On initial adding to Library , info get scraped, but if I try to Refresh the nfo files get ignored.

here a link to my other post with a bit more info http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=170069

any help would be apprciated
Overruling an episode's metadata with a custom NFO still requires the episode to have correct episode numbers in the filename.
Scraping is still being done, but the scraper just gets the information locally.

k_zeon, your issue is not similar, please keep it in your own thread Smile
