Hi,

I would really love to use this addon but cannot get it to work on Win 7 Frodo

I use MYSQL for my video & music which all resides on my WHS2011 server but the addon will only show sqllite as an option and all IP addresses etc are greyed out? how do I even configure this to work? I am sorry if I am missing something obvious but I really dont get it and cannot find a guide anywhere?

It's greyed out because it doesn't work.
Planned to work in version after next version.

Ah, that will be why then! but how do people get it to work at all? I would be happy for now just to use local files?

Everything is explaind in the help menu.

Release candidate supports MySql.

Does that mean that in future we could use a central picture database residing on a server just as we can do that now with video and music? Have you ever considered integrating the pictures database with XBMC?

Yes, with the release candidate you can use a central DB server.
And no, I never considered integrating MyPicsDB into XBMC because addons are written in Python and XBMC in C++.

That is a great shame because your add-on nicely complements XBMC.
