As of today.. Both my Apple TV 2 boxes restart like every 4 minutes. Everything was find until today.. I'm on optimum online in ny.. Could it just be a network issue with xbmc?
Uninstall and re-install.
debug log (wiki) and syslog + crashreporter needed.
hiya well .. last week no plug ins loaded on my ATV2.. infact i had to send it away...
the guy put Frado on( excuse spelling if fredo!)
came back and is now perfect
just a thought,, when you turn yours off.. do you go to the main menu/settings
and go to the sleep section.... thats what i do..
then to turn on... just press the main centre button on the remoate.
i think it may be to do with Repos that cannot connect. I had a Polish one called Smuto
When checking or Updating the repo in XBMC , it would goto Apple screen.
I just Disabled this Repo and am just waiting to see if it shuts down.??
May be other repo's that you cannot get into and everytime XBMC does an update check
it crashes.
we had a broken addon in our official repo which crashed xbmc when xbmc tried to fetch the list of updated addons. If that was the issue it should settle in a couple of hours latest.
