Hey guys, have a stoopid noob question.
I just put some movies in the library, then did an update ... yet 'some' of the movies show a 'small fanart" called thumb on the index page instead of the poster.
..I want just the Posters to display.

Also, I haven't been able to locate any info on these weird thumbs, and what they might be used for,... so if anyone has a link, I sure would appreciate it.

thanks
'Thumbed' in Louisville!
Here's what I'm talking about ....

Both of those movies have the correct xxx-poster.jpg in the folder too.

maybe here's something...
each movie displaying the weird "thumb" is a 2 part movie, ...
ie ..
<movie>.cd1.avi
<movie>.cd1-fanart.jpg
<movie>.cd1-poster.jpg
<movie>.cd2.avi

maybe I don't have the correct file naming?

thanks

<movie>-fanart.jpg is what you want.
Thank you!!!!! that did it ... ( I've been using the Popcorn Hour / YAMJ naming conventions for tooooo long! Smile

thanks again!

One last item ... XBMC seems to be loading the weird thumbnail, if it doesn't see a poster in the local folder.
Does anyone know why (or what setting I might have wrong),... and better yet, what's the purpose of the thumb?

thanks
Legion
edit ... delete post, sorry
The purpose is to not show a boring icon. You can disable it by disabling thumbnail generation in Settings->Videos.
ahhhhhhhhhhh, thank you!!!
