I think I have found a bug in xbmc-12.0 Frodo , details are as follows:

When we add a source in either music or video or picture and suppose the source folder name is "mymusic" then it is visible as "mymusic" in files view up to this point no problem.

And suppose we add same source again means we choose same folder on disk then new one is named as "mymusic (2)"

Now if we remove "mymusic (2)" the first one called "mymusic" gets removed.

Hmm... I'm not seeing that. I even tried creating 3 sources with the same folder and deleting one doesn't delete the other(s). Tried both Videos and Music. You may want to check your debug log (wiki) after you delete one of those sources and see what XBMC was doing under the covers in terms of removing that source or, in your case, sources.

I don't know why it is not reproducing on your side but this always happens on my side. It was also happening in xbmc-11.0.
My OS is Ubuntu.
I will check the log file.
