Hi
I'm using XBMC with openelec witch can't understand some data from my remote control whitch is not a standard one.
On ubuntu i succed to resolve the problem with HID_MAPPER ,but with openelec i need to rebuild the OS with the hid_mapper driver added in

Any other sotution pleas

Since OpenELEC is a minimal linux build with as much stripped from it as possible, it is not the best choice for everyone.
Since this minimal linux build is not created by the XBMC Team, this question should be asked on the OpenELEC forums.

That aside, if they say you need to rebuild te OS with that mapper in it, than that is what you need to do if you want to use OpenELEC.
of course you could (depending on your hardware) choose to run XBMCbuntu or another official version of XBMC.
