Hi,
i installed 12.1 on my media center PC today and sound in the xbmc standalone mode works perfect out of the box. But if i switch to the LXDE Session i have no sound in chrome, ZSNES or the console as well. I use a geforce GT218 for HDMI sound output. There is no other soundcard installed.
a soundtest within the LXDE session with aplay shows the following error:
an alsa-force reload in the lxde session doesnt help. But if i start XBMC from LXDE i have sound in XBMC immediately.
i also checked the alsamixer settings and the card is not muted.
can someone please give me a tip or lead me into the right direction?
