Helle Everyone,
I have the following problem:
When I try to play a Blu-Ray rip on my mediacenter using XBMC Frodo it stutters like crazy and has no sound. By searching the forums I was able to find out that this is a sound related problem (rather then a video problem which was my first guess looking at the stutters). The stutters appear using the following settings:
Audio output: HDMI
Audio output device: Wasapi HDMI
Passthough output device: Wasapi HDMI
When I change the Audio output to analog it plays like normal with sound (PCM and not Dolby HD or DTS HD which is the whole point). According to other posts this would suggest a problem with the Windows settings (I'm using windows 8 btw). I've checked these settings using the guide on the wiki (http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Win...udioEngine) and my HTPC seems to be configured as it should.
Does anyone have any suggestions why I might be having this problem? What other information do you require to answer this question?
