Oh Yes, when upgrading to KODI Helix on any device, please do not forget to update your librtmp file, as KODI is still using the 2011 version....

Noe, is 28/10/2014 a typo or is there another KSV file out after RP made his last 3-10-2014 version? If so where are these posted?
Noe, Is there already a trick to avoid the librtmp.so to not be overwritten every new time you start KODI/XBMC? This is still the reason that we are looking for help from somebody to build a full apk that has the correct working librtmp build in.

Hi @sattekop

The last version of rtmpdump binaries is from 28/10/2014. More information see you this page http://stream-recorder.com/forum/customi...e7facd&

It is important, that you have root permission on your android-devices and then you can replaced librtmp.so in android to this folder

Code:
/data/data/org.xbmc.kodi/lib/librtmp.so

See also http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Update_librtmp

i hope it help you

Noe, are you updating the patch.diff with the several fixes that are published on that topic?
Or are you using the published and shared patch.diff from KSV?
Since 28/10/2014 there are some pages on that topic with proposed solutions and fixes.
We are all waiting for KSV "approval" but still useful fixes...

Thx
Hi Smile
Here is my builds (with patch.diff from zip that its date is 03-11) with some random patches that after that date.

I have Pivos Xios DS box. Looking to strictly watch TV Portuguesa on it, but am running into some connection issues. Am I in the right place? Using the latest ICS, but if I am thinking correctly, should I be trying to run librtmp.so to help solve some of these connection problems?

If so, would I run it INSTEAD of the ICS?

Or do I have no clue what I am talking about?
ICS is "Ice Cream Sandwich" ? You want to run librtmp INSTEAD of your Android OS ?!?
I'm having some problem following your thoughts ...

What you need is to update that librtmp inside your ICS Android... That may solve some of your "connection problems"...
I'm trying to get this stream working but can't... It's Bulgarian Nova TV, available from here:
http://novatv.bg/live

rtmp://e1.cdn.bg:2060/fls<playpath>ntv_1.stream <swfUrl>http://i.cdn.bg/eflash/jwNTV/player.swf <pageUrl>http://i.cdn.bg/live/0OmMKJ4SgY

Entered like this for kodi:

rtmp://e1.cdn.bg:2060/fls playpath=ntv_1.stream swfUrl=http://i.cdn.bg/eflash/jwNTV/player.swf pageUrl=http://i.cdn.bg/live/0OmMKJ4SgY live=1

Any trick to get this stream working in kodi?

So where is the librtmp so I can update it?
Jesus Christ man... learn to search!!!
Have you read the first page from this topic?
Have you read the post before yours?
Have you read some pages back or only the topic name and go straight to your question??!?

I like to help when I can, but when others are so lazy to do a simple search or even read ONE message before theirs... its just so... wrong...

Hi,

I'm using the TV Portuguesa addon.
The Portuguese channels are working (RTP, SIC, TVI, etc..) but the Brazilian channels are not (Globo and Record)
I've updated to the latest librtmp. I've tried both the 8-30-14 and 10-3-14 found here http://www.mediafire.com/?x4cvp5hl4m9xr
I've also tried on both an android box and a Windows 7 machine with the same result.
I've also tried the librtmp files extracted from Enen92 post 1152 and the librtmp file from Noe post 1154 but no luck.

I've searching the net everywhere for a solution but can't find none.
Any idea of what to do in order to get back those 2 Brazilian channels or an idea of what's going on?

Can someone that uses this addon can confirm that those 2 channels are not working?

Thanks.

Edit: I forgot to mention. I'm using XBMC Gotham on PC and XBMC Minix Edition on my Neo X7 android box (I believe it's based on Gotham)
This is not the thread or forum to ask for solutions to problems involving addons or re-streamed ilegal content (read the forum rules and piracy policy). Also AFAIK there is no lib that will allow you to play content that doesn't exist.
First I apologize if I went against forum rules as it was not my intent.

Thanks for your reply.... I guess.
Pardon my ignorance and maybe I am missing something So I would appreciate if you could clarify.
Why is streaming the Brazilian channels any different than streaming the Portuguese ones via RTP Play.

As for content that doesn't exist, Record used to work up to a couple of days ago so I don't know.

Rtp play is the official site for RTP (the public tv here) you can access it from rtp.pt/play, the rtp play addon is streaming from legit sources. The addon you're seeking support is using piracy sites that re-stream content from private sources. The streams you're trying to access (tv record and tvglobo) from within the addon you're talking about do not come from either rede globo or tv record but from individuals that have a tv subscription and share the video over the internet. That is ilegal and not supported here. They do it normally not because of their beliefs against piracy or DRM but simply to earn money from the 3500 ads they have in the website.

So for your problem it is quite simple. Check first if the website the addon is getting the content from is up and running. If it is not than you found the cause of your problem. If it is, contact the developper or find a place where you can discuss that addon (not the kodi official forums).

General rule of thumb here for the usual excuse of "I don't know what is legit or what is the difference" is pretty simple: if you're watching content for free that you should be paying to watch than 99% of the cases the streams come from illegit sources (thus not supported here).

Enough off-topic.
