Yesterday my xmbcbuntu install froze up and I had to do a hard reset. Now when I boot my machine it shows the xbmc startup animation but then doesn't load xbmc instead it seems to just display the stdout from various processes such as utorrent. It doesn't display a command prompt it just displays the stdout. The machine seems to be running fine, I can ssh into it and all my daemons are running fine. Does anyone know how to fix it so that it starts running the xbmc front end again?

Thanks
Unless you have a lot invested in your current XBMCbuntu installation (e.g., customizations, add-ons), it may be more expeditious to simply reinstall XBMCbuntu on your system. Be sure you have a backup of any critical data that may be on that system, such as media files, before you reinstall.
