i just noticed the strangest thing today. one of my shows (and likely others) is missing a lot of files. there are 5 seasons but only seasons 4 and 5 show up. i checked file mode in xbmc and the files are there. they are named similarly. i made very sure there was nothing wrong with the file names themselves. i tried removing and re-adding them to the library. i dont know what is going on. any ideas?
And the *exact* names of the missing folder and episodes are?

have you tried renaming one of them just to check and rule it out - I know it seems obvious?
rename the first one on your list to -
s01e19e20 (lower case)
or try renaming them another way using the xbmc wiki

also can you show me one of the episodes from the adventure time series that works to make a comparison - again just to check
you need to rule out its not the files (most obvious) first as its the most simple.
the above list is all the episodes i have so you can make a comparison from that. only the ones from season 4 and 5 work. seasons 1, 2, and 3 do not. the naming schemes are the same. the only difference is they are 1080p instead of 720p but i just barely replaced a few 720p episodes in season 5 and they showed up fine. it has to be something other than the file names but i will try renaming one.
Enable debug logging and try to re-scrape the show. There should be some obvious log entries in xbmc.log. If unsure, upload the log to xbmclogs.com and post the link in here so others can have a look at it.

You have Use DVD order enabled in your scraper settings. With DVD order on, shows like Adventure Time need to use
Split-episode numbering.
To fix without renaming all your files, go to your Adventure Time folder in File view in XBMC, bring up the context menu, select "Change content", then "Settings" and disable "Use DVD order".
Save everything, and refresh the series.

wow, you are psychic. i looked at it in thetvdb and season 4 and 5 do not have a dvd order while season 1, 2, and 3 do. made the changes and that fixed it. thanks. good thing to keep in mind in case it happens with other shows.
