Hello

i added two Media Sources to XBMC

smb//servername/sharename/foldername1
smb//servername/sharename/foldername2
These are the the folders the media sources show if i inspect them.

But XBMC tries to index the whole share.
smb//servername/sharename/
There are of course several other folders with several thousand files and indexing lasts forever.
Why does xbmc does not stay in the folder which is set in the data source?

Does anybody know whats going wrong here?

Any help would be great.
Thx
Dominik
Personally, I navigate inside the folder I want to add so I see the contents, then select OK as this sets the parent folder as the share.
debug log (wiki) needed. It sounds like things were set up correctly from your description, but the log will tell us for sure.
Also perhaps the contents of userdata/sources.xml
