I have put the extra pack in the folder given in MQ4 topic
(C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\addon_data\skin.extrapack.aeonmq.4)
But i still don't see the animated weather icons. What do i need to do to enable the extrapack ?

I am new to XBMC I only just recently started using it and an HTPC..I was using Aeon Nox but I kept seeing screenshots that looked different and finally found this regular Aeon.
So what is the extra pack? Forgive my ignorance.
It gives you extra artwork. For example more movie studio logos.

Found it. Go to customization (on bottom home screen menu), choose the weather button, and then on the list that appears select 'animate background images'.
How do you install this manually? XBMC refuses to recognize the .rar and I rezipped it into a zip but it has an incorrect file structure according to XBMC. Running OpenELEC FWIW.

I did that but am still not getting it to work. Is there something else I need to do to enable it or something?
Same problem here, tried to install using the automated method then tried to install manually but no luck. Been at this for a couple of months now so any help would be greatly appreciated.
What are you not getting that you are expecting to?
