Hi,
I recently installed XBMC having used it on a different laptop before. Every add-on i have downloaded has failed since the moment i acquired them. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing twice, even deleting the profile folder that i had transferred from the other laptop. I'm not amazingly well versed in the technical aspects of the program but i'm pretty sure i haven't done anything differently from the first time i installed it.

Do you have the Windows User Account Control enabled? if so disable it and try again

Unfortunatley that hasn't fixed the problem. I'm still getting all the scripts failing messages at startup.

is XBMC started as Admin

Still no luck... I appreciate the suggestions though.

Well Vista is and was garbage right out the gate, so that link didnt surprise me...
