Just a small low prio request:

Everytime you execute WOL or shutdown the app reports the successful transmission with the message "Command has been sent". The user needs to click that message away to continue. Although I appreciate the response, it nags to click the message away. I suggest an option to disable the message. Alternatively I would suggest just to show a message in case of an error. It would also be sufficient to display the message as a temporary overlay (like when you change subtitles in the remote control) that goes away after a few moments.
I like it, could be done: show a message in case of an error and an overlay in case of success, thank you for your feedback.
I'd very much like to see these popups disappear as well. A checkbox to enable/disable it seems a bit like feature creep to me: there's no reason to notify the user that the command is sent i think. Whether the command was received properly becomes pretty soon clear by watching the screen right? Smile
Done! Now a nice notification area with a slide in/out from top was added!
