XBMCbuntu works fine on most of my host, except one, a Dell XPS 14 (L401X), which has a Intel video card for 2D and a Nvidia GT420M video card for 3D.

When booting XBMCbuntu on it I get: a black screen with a message box saying: XBMC needs hardware accelerated OpenGL, and link to the wiki for supported hardware.

The XBMCbuntu I am using is the Intel/Nvidia version.. Interestingly I gave OpenElec a try on it and it worked well on it.

Any ideas on that one?

Thanks
Manually reinstall the nvidia driver. Disable the other driver in bios
You need bumblebee if you like to have Intel and NVidia gfx work at the same time.
