dubious Wink
I run OE latest stable on ASus Chromebox. After watching a HD channel for like 35 min, buffer errors start to appear they get gradually worse. Than I stop my live tv watching and start it again, and Ill be good for another half an hour. Nobody faces this is here on a Chromebox?
That seems completely off topic. Please start a different thread, or maybe ask it in a thread on Chromeboxes.
short question.

I tried to install ultrastar-deluxe on my HTPC. but I got the following error.

Code:
Die folgenden Pakete haben unerfüllte Abhängigkeiten:
ultrastar-deluxe : Hängt ab von: liblua5.1-0 soll aber nicht installiert werden
Hängt ab von: libsdl-image1.2 (>= 1.2.10) soll aber nicht installiert werden

Can I install this both libs or will this brocken the things from the howto?
Quick question, is this still valid:
- Change the /etc/init/xbmc.conf file (see the new line to resolve tearing)

Because I fail to see which line is the "new" one...

Thanks!

Makes VAAPI-BOB working on hsw (see the ppa from first page, it implements it). Was updated some days ago. no change for MADI / MACI.
No Change for Baytrail Lanczos3?
No - this vaapi driver has absolutely nothing to do with our lanczos3 convolution filter.

Edit: To be honest - I am quite sure that it won't happen on those 4EUs at all.
any newx when this will enter the official xbmc developement?
first I need to submit it for review.

Transformers 576i: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5572...formers.ts
Transformers 576p (w3fdif aka bbc deinterlacer): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5572...weston.mp4
Transformers 576p (Yadif): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5572...-yadif.mp4

Isn't the original clip 25p (i.e. a film or film-look source) within a 50i signal - i.e. no intra-frame motion? Isn't it a better test of a de-interlacer to see how native 50i content is de-interlaced to 50p - i.e. see how motion between the two fields within a frame is handled? Isn't that the more taxing process and the one where you see more quality improvements on the more sophisticated algorithms? A good test is a mix of 25p and 50i motion in the same frame (i.e. a 50i credit roll on the left with a 25p film-source clip on the right?)

De-interlacing native 25p content within a 50i sequence should ideally perform like a standard "weave" as with no motion between fields there is nothing really to be gained in doing anything else?

If I get a chance I'll try a Weston 3 Field de-interlace on some high quality 1080/50i stuff I've got.
Just finished setting up my haswell refresh box, mostly working except Live-TV crashes on any channel unless that channel has been watched at least once by a different front end in the house (!!) sounds like voodoo to me.

crashlog

http://www.xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=235134

This is repeatable and happens 100% of time when changing channel.
I also have problem of network not being ready in time at boot causing tvheadend addon to disable itself.
I followed the guide on page 1 to the letter for the above crashlog

Many thanks, seems to be working well thought apart from this.

Also, I don't seem to have the option for any resize methods beyond bicubic/bilinear.
enable debugging.
Will do,
In the mean time something bizarre just happened, turned off the box to place a watt metre in to check what the power draw is at the wall and the TBS6985 literally disappeared to the system, doesn't show with any modprobe command and not showing up in tvheadend under adapters, it's as if the driver just vanished (!?).

Just installing everything again from scratch and will provide a log with debugging enabled once done.
