I've recently moved all my media to a different network location. Now XBMC has two of every movie.

I can remove them one at a time, but this will take too long. I thought that the Clean Library option under Setttings, Video was supposed to purge missing content - is this not the case?

What os are you using? See the below link, you can delete the myvideos.db file and rescan your videos, you may lose watched statuses though.

Yes this is the case, but it will only remove them if they can not be accessed at the location that is in the database.
