I've been thinking to keep all infos about MPAA Certifications, ofcourse this is not a complete list, so if you want to help adding missing labels feel free to post them and i'll add it to the list. Once we have a complete working list this could be transfered to the wiki.

Can't remember right now, tried most of them with tmdb so i may believe all scarpers are using the same naming rules.

Banned! god almighty!! I immediately want to watch it... although it seem like in Italy it first was rated 14. yes, we brutal like that.

it's currently only banned in Alberta - Canada. which also immediately makes me want to visit that City.

In the western world the practice of actually explicitly prohibited from public screening in modern times have mostly only been used in some commonwealth countries like United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada, as well as some Nordic countries in Scandinavia such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Finland. Giving a movie a "banned" rating to force prohibition is otherwise not very common in the rest of western world.

Sweden had a film censorship board (Statens biografbyrå), founded in 1911. Statens biografbyrå was closed down in 2011, and a new board, "Statens medieråd" (The Swedish Media Council) , have taken over the responsibility of determining the age limits for film and the censorship of film has since been completely removed by law in Sweden.
