I have set up the zotac zbox in my living room and have installed my video library from my SMB share from my pc upstairs.
but my movies is not displayed on my sub menu and its the same when I install TV Shows. I have tried going into appearance and settings to un hide it but its not even highlighted.

Any Suggestions.

Sounds like you've only added the SMB share but didn't kick off an actual library scan/update? If Movies and TV shows don't show up as options on the main menu, it's because XBMC doesn't see any in the library.

From Adding_videos_to_the_library#Adding_and_managing_videos (wiki), did you do step 3 ?
