Hi everyone,
I am using XBMC 12.2 "Frodo" as a UPNP/DLNA client to play video files on my laptop from my set top box successfully.
The set top box is Linux based and my laptop runs Windows 7 SP1 32 bit with 2 GB of ram and has nVidia GPU.

The set top box has a time shift ability and the file being recorded is accessible and playable by XBMC, but only with a duration up to the moment when I press the play button and after that the video ends even though the time shift still on and updating the file (length of the video is growing).
Is there a way to tell XBMC to keep seeking a head some seconds (like buffering) automatically and play what has been updated on the file by the set top box?, because in this way it will make a nice live streaming server.

Regards
