I'm using an old stable version of XBMC (Eden).
I'd like to upgrade, but I don't want to lose all my setting/favorites/addons/ etc.
How do I upgrade without losing anything?

Backup userdata (wiki) folder (because you should backup regularly anyways) and just install Frodo right on top of Eden. You should not lose anything.

To add to that: In case something goes wrong, install eden on top of your install, restore your userdata (wiki) folder and you are back where you started,
